"Train like there is no tomorrow"

History

The club has been based at various venues over the years but has been located in the sports hall at Billericay Sports Centre for several years now. The club has continued to train to a high standard providing quality coaching (with full insurance and sports council recognition) and developing high calibre pupils.

Sensei Steve Fitch 3rd Dan and Neil Treloar 3rd Dan are the registered instructors with the BJJAGB

 

Steve and Neil passed their Jujitsu Black belt in 1993 whilst training under sensei Mark and Toni Mclennan and Sensei Terry Parker 9th Dan.  They continued to train and develop their techniques and skills and  passed their Third Dan under the tuition of Sensei Brian Herbert 8th Dan

 

Steve has also trained with the Aikido circle.

Neil trained under Simon Lau in Wing Chun for four years and also in Lau Gar Kung Fu under Neville Wray for 3 years.

 

Steve Fitch and Neil Treloar were approached to take over the running of Noakbridge Jikishin club in 1994 which they readily accepted, undertaking the necessary coaching exams whilst continuing to train for 2nd dan blackbelt.  

 

Neil Treloar left to continue training in aikido and Tai Jjitsu in France for 4 years and returned to the club in 2004.
